Moleskine has been around since 1997. Almost everyone knows them for their iconic all black notebook, but what they don't know is that they do so much more than that.
In their website they state "Moleskine objects (...) represent, around the world, a symbol of contemporary nomadism."
Right now they are doing very little to showcase their nomadic essence. This is why I created a rebrand with that nomadic vision in mind.
The mark is made out of 4 triangles. Each one represents each of the brand's 4 global HQ's.
The logotype is inspired by airport codes and bag tags. It displays the most essential characters of the name without losing readability.
The 4 triangles that make up the logo can be rearranged to create new patterns and figures.
The app is meant to help user create authentic and memorable travel experiences. No more travel guides telling you to visit the same landmarks and boring locations. MLSKN's app recommends real local authentic experiences that can't be missed wherever your travels take you.
Every MLSKN store around the world represents the location where it is placed. Not one store is the same. Each store embodies the culture and aesthetic of the local environment.
