Moleskine has been around since 1997. Almost everyone knows them for their iconic all black notebook, but what they don't know is that they do so much more than that. In their website they state "Moleskine objects (...) represent, around the world, a symbol of contemporary nomadism." Currently they aren't doing much to showcase their nomadic essence.
This is why I created a rebrand with that nomadic vision in mind.
The mark is made out of 4 triangles. Each representing one of the brand's 4 global HQ's. The logotype is inspired by airport codes and bag tags. Showcasing the most essential characters of the name without losing readability.

Every MLSKN store around the world represents the location where it is placed. Not one store is the same. Each store embodies the culture and aesthetic of the local environment.
